Tim Wynes, one of three finalists in Carl Sandburg College’s search for its next president, informed the College on Thursday that he has withdrawn from consideration for the position.
The remaining two finalists, Dr. Ellen Crowe and Dr. Seamus Reilly, each took part in a two-day interview for the position earlier this month. The Sandburg Board of Trustees is in the process of reviewing the candidates. Further information on the presidential search can be found on the Sandburg presidential search page.
The College’s Board of Trustees hopes to have a decision on the presidential search for its May 24 meeting. The new president will replace Dr. Lori Sundberg, who will step down in June after eight years in the position.
